So starting in november of 2005 I started getting this skin allergy. It starts out looking like a mosquito bite but if i scratched more or didnt take anything for it like benadryl it could swell up. it can be 8 inches in diameter and swell upward a little. And is incredibly ithcy probably worse then anything your've experienced. ive been to the allergy docotor and they did all these test but they were all negative. the only thing he could do was give me medicaine. So a little after it started it doesnt get that big and i think its because i can control it a little. but i always have bumps all over. they hardly ever get big anymore. and sometimes its worse then other times. its been non stop since 2005. ive done a food diary and tried to think of anything it could be but still have no idea. has anyone ever had this problem???

What did the doctor say? Is it eczema that you are sufffering or some other skin disorder? You need to know the exact skin condition so that you can take the appropriate action.
Your allergens can be food, dust mites, chemical sensitivity to products, pollen, cat just about anything. Your tests have to be pretty extensive to check for a wide range. Of course, it helps if you do observe certain reactions. Reading more about possible allergens can also help you be more alert if you find yourself exposed to a specific one.
Reply:hmm.. I would think it would be either some kind of food allergy, or maybe an allergy to soap. Have you tried changing your laundry soap? Sometimes that can be the cause. Other then that, I have no idea!! Maybe it's a different type of skin condition. Have you been to just a dermatologist?
